Chartered Environmentalist Scheme

CEnv is an independently regulated qualification that denotes a practitioner demonstrating competence within and a commitment to environmental best practice within their particular field of expertise.

The Chartered Environmentalist status establishes professional environmentalists on a par with other professionals such as Chartered Engineers and Chartered Scientists.

The qualification is regulated by the Society for the Environment (SocEnv), an independent organisation, comprising professional bodies and societies, sharing a common vision of a sustainable environment achieved through best practice environmental action.

SocEnv regulates the profession of environmental practice through the Chartered Environmentalist qualification and seeks to influence government, policy makers and opinion formers on all aspects of the environment.
