About Us

Festival Energy Ltd is a RICS-regulated residential surveying and valuation practice providing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys, RICS Level 3 Building Surveys, Red Book valuations, and detailed defect diagnosis across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire (including Salisbury).

We bring over 30 years of local experience, having surveyed, inspected, valued, and reported on properties across these postcodes for decades. This deep knowledge of local building types, construction methods, and market values ensures our clients receive accurate, context-specific advice. Many surveyors operate from outside the area — we believe local expertise matters.

Our Level 3 Building Surveys include a number of premium features designed to give buyers deeper insight and greater confidence:

  • Free drone survey for high-level areas not visible from ground level (chimneys, valleys, flat roofs)
  • Cost estimates for significant repair items identified during the inspection
  • Valuation insight based on the property’s condition
  • Price negotiation support, including a tailored letter where appropriate
  • On-site meeting or pre-/post-report call for clarification and guidance
  • 24-hour turnaround, with the report issued the day after inspection
  • Extensive colour images, including aerial photography

We specialise in clear, evidence-based reporting with a strong focus on client understanding, transparency, and practical guidance. Our surveys and valuations are carried out by a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, with extensive experience in Victorian and Edwardian homes, rural cottages, coastal properties, modern estates, and buildings affected by clay soils, damp, timber decay, and historic alterations.

We focus heavily on first-time buyer education, producing accessible, jargon-free content that helps buyers understand property risks, defects and the survey process. Follow our guidance, tips and real-world examples:

Every report is aligned with the RICS Home Survey Standard, combining technical accuracy with accessible explanations to support confident decision-making, negotiation, and long-term maintenance planning. We offer a responsive, professional service with fast turnaround times, direct surveyor access, and clear communication throughout.
