Beloved Home Surveys is an independent, RICS-regulated residential surveying practice in Sheffield, providing RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis and drone roof inspections across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Beloved Home Surveys is also a member of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) and The Property Ombudsman scheme. Every survey is carried out by an Associate Member of RICS (AssocRICS) who has worked in property since 2013 and has experience in building pathology and defect analysis. We work on a limited diary, allowing us to focus on quality rather than quantity. Reports are written in plain English with photographs, clear condition ratings to highlight the significance and urgency of defects, and a dedicated section identifying matters for your legal adviser. Your report will be issued within five working days of the inspection. Once issued, we remain available to discuss any concerns or questions you may have, whether immediately after receiving your report or later in the purchase process. Our support does not end when the report is issued, and many of our clients continue to come back to us for advice throughout their property purchase.

Before you book, we will advise you on the most appropriate level of survey for the property and explain the differences where needed. We also arrange access with the estate agent or vendor on your behalf. We have particular experience in surveying Yorkshire’s older housing stock and properties of traditional and non-traditional construction. This includes recognised systems such as Vic Hallam, Wimpey No-Fines, Laing Easiform, Hawksley BL8 and Reema, alongside a range of other precast concrete, poured in-situ concrete, steel-framed and timber-framed properties. We also have experience in identifying potentially hazardous materials, such as asbestos, and recognising invasive plant species, including Japanese knotweed and bamboo.
