Blue Blossom Surveys Ltd is an independent RICS-regulated residential surveying practice based in Peterborough, providing professional, practical advice to homebuyers across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Rutland and the surrounding areas.

Led by Patrick Guest, AssocRICS MCIOB, the practice benefits from over 35 years' experience within the construction and property industry. Patrick's career began in the building trade before progressing through site, project and construction management roles and ultimately into residential surveying. This extensive hands-on construction background provides a practical understanding of how buildings are constructed, how they age and, importantly, how and why defects occur.

We provide RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys, covering everything from modern and new-build homes through to older, extended and altered properties, period houses and traditional stone-built homes. We also undertake new-build Pre-Completion Inspections and snagging surveys.

Our approach is personal and straightforward. Surveys are undertaken by the surveyor you deal with directly, with reports written in clear, practical language to explain not simply what has been found, but what it means, what action may be required and where further investigation is genuinely warranted.

Where appropriate, modern surveying techniques, including drone inspection, are used to help assess areas that may otherwise be difficult to inspect.

We believe that a survey should be more than simply a report. Clients are given the opportunity to discuss the principal findings directly with their surveyor, helping them understand the property, identify significant risks and make informed decisions before committing to their purchase.

Based in Peterborough, we regularly cover Stamford, Grantham, Bourne, Market Deeping, Huntingdon, Spalding, Whittlesey, Oakham, Corby and the surrounding towns and villages.
