About Us

I’m Neil Scrannage, an independent Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer working directly with clients through my practice, S4 Surveyors.

Based in Burton-on-Trent, I provide high-quality residential property surveys and valuations across the Midlands, including Derby, Uttoxeter, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Tamworth, Lichfield, Rugeley, Cannock, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.

As an MRICS qualified and RICS regulated surveyor, I specialise in residential surveys, Help to Buy valuations, and market valuation reports. I use drone technology as part of my surveys to inspect hard-to-reach areas like roofs and chimneys, helping you get a clearer picture of the property's condition.

Clients value my personal, straightforward approach and local knowledge. I take pride in delivering clear, easy to read reports and practical advice to help you make confident, informed decisions when buying or selling a home.
