About Us

Simon Wilkinson is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having been elected to Chartered Surveyor status in 1997 after gaining a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management at Reading University. With many years of experience in the local property market he set up his own Chartered Surveying practice in 2017 to offer a more personalised service to clients. Simon offers over 25 years’ experience in undertaking residential survey and valuation work and commercial surveys on a wide variety of properties of varying styles and ages in Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding villages of South Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire.

Simon Wilkinson Surveyors undertake pre-purchase surveys including RICS Level 1, 2 or 3 Home Surveys and bespoke Building Surveys together with Single Defect Reports on all types of residential property from period Grade II Listed thatched timber framed cottages to modern new build properties. Commercial Building Surveys and Schedules of Condition are also undertaken on commercial properties.

Market Valuations prepared for a variety of reasons including Pre-Purchase, Matrimonial, Shared-Ownership or Help to Buy, Tax Planning for Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax, Expert Witness Valuation Reports for the courts and Reinstatement Cost Assessments for buildings insurance.

Please note, we do not carry out Commercial Valuations or Rent Reviews.
