About Us
Cheke & Co are a celebrated firm of Chartered Surveyors that were established in East London 150 years ago. We have successfully expanded over the decades and now offer our services throughout Essex, including properties in Basildon, Bishops Stortford, Braintree, Chelmsford, Clacton-On-Sea, Colchester, Dagenham, Dunmow, Epping, Grays, Harlow, Hornchurch, Ilford, Maldon, Romford, Southend-on-Sea, Upminster, Witham, and Woodford.
We undertake a wide range of building surveying services, such as residential surveys, historic building consultancy, defect analysis, party wall matters, leasehold enfranchisement, and project management of extension and refurbishment works. We also undertake commercial building surveys, dilapidations, schedules of condition, planned maintenance, and project management of fit out and refurbishment works.
Our RICS Registered Valuers advise regarding any valuation issue, including secured lending, Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax, Help to Buy loans and insurance reinstatement valuations. We advise Charities regarding marketing of assets and Courts regarding disputes and matrimonial proceedings.
